Dîner en Blanc First in Seoul, South Korea!

As Dîner en Blanc continues to spread around the world, Parisian beauty and traditions translate across countries and continents. Over the last few years, cities all over Asia have passionately hosted the culinary event—from Singapore, to Ho Chi Minh City, Hong Kong, Shanghai, and Tokyo.

Le Dîner en Blanc – Seoul will mark the inaugural chic picnic for South Korea on Saturday, June 11th. Seoul expects close to 1000 guests to done white and dine under the skies of what promises to be a beautifully hot night, with nearly 30-degree weather and a mix of sun and clouds.

Le Dîner en Blanc – Seoul is also making history as part of the ongoing 2015-2016 France-Korea Year, a celebration to mark the 130th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries. According to L’Institut Français, France and Korea will participate in a discovery and an exchange of “all the facets of an ancient and refined culture, buzzing with creativity and modernity through exhibits, concerts, performances, festivals, lectures, etc.” Le Dîner en Blanc – Seoul is just one of these many occasions.

Good luck, Seoul! Vive Le Dîner en Blanc!
